Buddy & club

Find a buddy or a club · built around the dive, not a dating profile

Dive with the right people

Find your buddy. Join a club. Dive. First step: a waitlist for divers and clubs that want to be found.

I am looking for a buddyI represent a club

Today this is a waitlist. No map, no matching, no profiles. We record who is looking for a buddy and which clubs want to be found.

Finding someone to dive with should not be a scavenger hunt

You do not dive alone

A partner is mandatory for safety. Without a buddy, many autonomous divers stay on the quay.

Current channels do not hold

Clubs can be too rigid for an autonomous diver. Facebook and WhatsApp are noisy, unfiltered, and empty as soon as you change city.

Nothing dedicated here

English-language buddy apps have existed for years and did not solve local French-speaking demand. Multi-sport apps have no diving depth.

The right buddy, not anyone

Level, Saturday availability, quarry or sea, supervised or autonomous: without those filters, “find a buddy” stays luck.

What we are building

1

Locate the outing

Town or postcode, level, dive type. The point is not a decorative map: it is seeing who is actually reachable around you.

2

Find a club

Clubs and centres, federations, contact. That census is not public today. It will be when it can be kept current without shipping a ghost directory.

3

Dive

Get in touch, join an outing, dive. Certifications as information, not a dating gallery. Trust is built after the dive, not on a swipe.

Clubs are mapped, not public yet

Research already listed clubs and centres via FFESSM, PADI, SSI, NELOS, LIFRAS, SUSV/FSSS, FLASSA and FMAS, from mainland Europe to the overseas territories. This page shows no pins and no contacts. It is not a live directory.

Around the outing, not a profile

The need is not a social feed. It is: who is diving near me, at my level, this weekend. The product we are aiming for is organised around the outing — availability, certification, dive type — not around a swipe card.

Who it is for

Diver

Autonomous divers, travellers, accompanied beginners — looking for a buddy or a club nearby, or away from home.

Club

Clubs and centres that want to be found by divers looking for a team or an outing, without a ghost marketing page.

What this will not be

Matching by outing

“Who is diving near me this Saturday?” — not a photo feed.

Level later, not now

Levels and certifications as information, not decoration. Nothing is verified until the product is open.

No fake reputation

If post-dive ratings exist one day, they will be mutual. No invented public score today.

Join the waitlist

Say whether you are looking for a buddy, or whether you represent a club. No public directory at this stage.

Role *

We will write when you can look for a buddy or a club near you.

After you submit, a confirmation email arrives. Click the link to validate your place — until then, the sign-up is not on the list yet.

Frequently asked questions

Is this already a matching service?

Not yet. We record interest. There is no automatic matching, no directory to browse, and no clickable map.

Is there already a club directory?

No. This page lists no clubs and no divers. A back-office census exists to prepare the product; it is not published.

What do I need to provide?

An email and a role: diver or club. One sign-up per language corridor.

Why a diving-specific tool?

Because diving is the sport where a partner is mandatory for safety, and today’s channels are either too rigid (clubs), unstructured (Facebook), or empty locally (English-language buddy apps).

Is this a dating app?

No. Finding a buddy or a club for a dive is not a dating app. The separate Rencontres waitlist is for meeting other divers without romantic matching.

What happens after I sign up?

After you sign up, a confirmation email arrives. Click the link (24 h) to validate your place. We then write to that address when the list moves. If outings / clubs open, confirmed people hear first.
