The Ocean is vast, and those who try to protect it are many. Today there are thousands of organizations, associations, and foundations working for the preservation of marine ecosystems.
At AquaExposure, we have the humility to acknowledge that we cannot cite them all, nor claim to blindly support all actions of any one in particular. The diversity of battles is a strength, not a competition.
The essential lies elsewhere. What matters is feeling viscerally concerned. Understanding that every diver, every photographer, can contribute their stone to the edifice, at their own scale. Our deep conviction is that protecting the seas is not delegated to an institution: it is embodied in the gesture of those in the water.
Our mission is to share these convictions, act rigorously during every dive, and above all, train future generations. We don't just train image technicians, we awaken consciousnesses so that the beauty of the underwater world is not just archived, but preserved.

Green Fins encourage et aide les plongeurs, les amateurs de snorkeling, l'industrie de la plongée et les communautés côtières à réduire les pressions exercées sur les récifs coralliens en proposant aux entreprises de tourisme marin des alternatives pratiques et peu coûteuses aux pratiques néfastes telles que le mouillage, le nourrissage des poissons et la pollution chimique, ainsi qu'en leur fournissant une formation stratégique, un soutien et des ressources.

« Réconcilier les humains avec la vie sauvage » C’est l’étoile Polaire qui donne le cap de l’association LONGITUDE 181. LONGITUDE 181 veut rassembler les plongeurs, les apnéistes, les usagers de la mer, témoins privilégiés de l’évolution de l’univers marin, mais aussi le grand public, adultes et jeunes, pour qu’ils deviennent les ambassadeurs des créatures qui le peuplent, afin que leurs suppliques, aujourd’hui inaudibles, soient enfin entendues.

Ethics is not an option, it is the backbone of our teaching.
1. Non-Intrusive Lighting
We made the radical choice of natural light. The use of powerful flashes and artificial lighting is an assault on marine wildlife.
✓ Action: Mastery of settings & digital restoration without luminous violence.
2. Technical Excellence
A diver who doesn't master stability is a danger to the reef. Every involuntary contact is a wound to the ecosystem.
✓ Action: Frog kick & perfect horizontal balance to protect coral.
3. Scientific Data
Every image of a rare animal contains vital information for researchers (patterns, scars, meeting places).

YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR ETHICS
Why doesn't AquaExposure support a single NGO in particular?
Because the cause of the Ocean goes beyond labels. We believe in individual responsibility. Rather than blindly funding one structure, we prefer to train thousands of divers who will apply strict protocols.
Is it forbidden to touch marine animals during training?
Yes, it is an absolute prohibition. Touch removes the protective mucus from animals, exposing them to infections. We teach passive observation and erasure.
How can a simple photo help save a species?
Through photo-identification. Some species have unique markings. By learning to properly frame these areas, you allow researchers to track populations without capture.
Doesn't your 'no flash' approach produce dull images?
On the contrary. Flash often freezes the scene artificially. By mastering natural exposure and digital restoration techniques, our students obtain vibrant and authentic colors.
